Following a busy run up to Christmas we started back to work last week. One of the jobs we did was this little residential flat roof replacement in Sutton Coldfield. The customer had called to say that the kitchen roof was leaking in 2 places and required a roof repair. There were several roofs at the property but we identified this roof to be be cause.
We stripped off the old built up felt roof waterproofing, that was in a bad state of repair and several years old, to reveal the timber deck. Due to the leaks the plywood was wet but still in good shape. We dried off the board and applied a 2mm torch on underlay felt followed by a 4.5mm torch on polyester mineral cap sheet with all edge details to match. This specification boasts a 15 year manufacturers guarantee.?
