Garage with Balcony

This is one of our recent jobs. A garage extension with a balcony area on top in Wood end near Atherstone. Working to architects drawings we dug down 1m strip footings and mass filled with concrete. We then bricked up to the damp course and concreted the floor. We then built the walls. Whilst this is going on, we removed the tiles off part of the existing garage roof and created a flat roof that would then continue over the new garage area. We applied a 2mm torch on underlay and 2 layers of 4mm torch on felt, butt jointed as not to create raised overlaps and then fitted 25mm roofing promenade tiles. A new set of French doors were fitted to gain access to the area and new electric roller shutter door to the garage. Finally a glass balustrade has been fitted to create a new great outdoor living space. Customer was great and is really happy with the finished job.
