Extension in Tamworth

We recently finished this new build extension to a property in Two Gates, Tamworth. The customer told us what they wanted to achieve and asked us if we could organise an architect to progress through the planning department.The plans were all drawn up and submitted to the council who agreed to the build.

We started the job by firstly demolishing an old existing conservatory which was no longer fit for purpose.  The footings were then dug and the drains set before all spoil taken away by grab wagon.  We then cast the reinforced concrete raft floor.

Once the concrete was set, the insulated cavity walls were built using matching bricks to the original property.  The timber roof structure was then constructed and 2 opening rooflights installed before making the roof watertight using breathable membrane and matching tiles to the main house roof.  A lovely 3 leaf Anthracite aluminium bifold door with blinds within the glass units was then installed making the build completely secure.  We then knocked through the new extension to the original house.  The new extension was then finished off by plastering the walls and ceiling and skirtings fitted.
