Conservatory Warm Roof Replacement - Dosthill
A job we finished recently was this warm roof replacement to a conservatory on property in Dosthill, Tamworth .
We then fitted new timber roof joists. These had to be raised by the house to create a roof structure of 15 degrees.
Structural moisture resistant OSB3 sheets were then fitted to the structure and then covered with a breathable membrane.Lightweight plastic roofing slates, were then screwed to the timber boards and a lead flashing was applied and fixed to a pre cut groove in the house wall.The wall was finished off at the top with a tiled crease and blue bricks.Inside, we insulated between the roofing timbers with 120mm celotex insulation.Electrical supplies were installed before the ceiling was boarded with 37mm insulated plasterboard.The ceiling was then finished with a plaster skim.The electricians then returned to fit the LED downlights.
